Enhanced descriptions from Syndetics:

This report proposes that there are four factors which are important for innovation. The first is scientific development; the second is a structure whereby users and doers can share their knowledge cooperatively. This leads to the third factor, which is the creation of complex, modular structures that give a freedom to innovate but can be joined together into a system. The last element is information and communication technologies. This book looks at these factors in relation to education.
