MA dissertation : Interactive Digital Media
Persistent acceleration has brought us to the new era of real time. The erasure of time and space barriers has changed our habitation, knowledge and social life. This dissertation explores what influence digital media technology has had on our perception of reality during this persistent acceleration. It intends to provide a better understanding of ourselves and the desires for speed that has created new digital forms. It then analyses how our digital culture is altering our perceptions of reality in return.
