Technology in general is believed to have its fundamentals in rationality, reason and scientific way of thinking. However, when the narratives surrounding (digital/cybernetics) technology are looked closely, these narratives seem to reveal more of the opposites such as unreason, irrationally, imagination, emotions, religion, mysticism, magic etc. The objective of this research is to explore how these are used to enrich the narratives of art works exploring themes of artificial intelligence and artificial life by looking for various implications behind autonomous machines.
